Housing

Most expatriates relocating to Nigeria will be posted to Lagos or Abuja and there are an increasing number of accomodation options, although quality remains the key variable. Standalone housing is hard to come by and most expatriates will live in secure apartment complexes in the popular Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Lekki. Lease practices in Nigeria are different to what some expatriates may be used to, with rent usually being paid up to two years in advance. Services, including access to back-up generation and other utilities, are normally provided by the landlord and paid for via an annual service charge. Given the high demand and relitively short supply expariates are warned that good quality accomodation does come at a premium. CRN has very established links with agents and developers and aims to provide it's clients with the best options as they become available.
